From the very beginning, I’ve always aspired to be a full-stack web developer.
To give some context, I once took up a subject on Software System Planning in university and we were required to build a food delivery web application. From working on its front-end to the back-end, I started connecting the dots on how a website is built. And I thought it was something I could see myself doing for a long time.
That was how my curiosity for the web development paradigm grew fonder.
I always felt that there’s a mismatch between my learnings in University and the skills I wanted to really master. So, I took things into my own hands and started learning web development through online courses on my own.
Then came along Forward School. What drew me to it was its use of contemporary tech stacks and frameworks as part of the syllabus. What’s more, we are also taught by actual full-stack web developers and software engineers! This enables me to learn a new topic in a short period of time as I am learning from the experts themselves.
And to me, that’s the best environment to learn a new skill.
