I got exposed to programming when I was in secondary school by my friend and it sparked my interest in programming. I joined the computer science stream with not much confidence as I was still very new to programming and had just learned basic HTML and CSS. However, my confidence grew the longer I was self-learning in this field. I also joined the STEM club in my school but unfortunately, the pandemic hit during that time and there wasn’t much I could do.
I have always felt curious about how the game "League of legends" was made every time I played the game. I came to know that it was programmed by humans and got exposed to programming languages by my friends and felt that it was interesting.
I participated in a React-Firebase-Bootcamp held by Acat Penang which is now Forward School and got to know about Forward School. I researched and looked at the syllabus and felt interested in it.
I definitely felt honoured to host the Christmas event in 2021 as I was the class representative at that time and had some great memories during that event. I also liked those midnights where I joined my seniors in chit-chatting and having fun playing some games in the hostel.
I hope to finish learning about 3D using threejs and apply it to my portfolio by the time I graduate so that I can focus on learning additional skills like computer vision while working after graduating. Then, I would like to work on some projects on computer vision and work with some companies as their developer to gain connection and experience at the same time.
