For as long as I can remember, I’ve always been fascinated by software applications and its impact on our daily lives. And that was my spark.
So, I looked around for opportunities to learn programming. I managed to join a coding academy in Bukit Mertajam and what an eye-opener it was! There, I was introduced to the limitless possibilities of programming and it motivated me to have this goal -- I want to change the world with code.
While I was certain that I wanted to pursue software engineering as my tertiary education after my SPM, I wanted a school that focused on hands-on learning and real-world experience. And that’s how I came about Forward School.
The decision was pretty much a no-brainer because their delivery methods stood out to me. Instead of focusing on just theoretical knowledge, they made sure that we got our hands dirty from day 1. Super intensive but I managed to create a responsive website in 1 month.
It was then I realized that I’ve made the right decision and that I am in good hands.
